While South Africa shivers through the winter chill, our favourite A-listers have officially swapped their puffer jackets for bikinis and jet-setted off to the tropical paradise of Thailand.

Leading the pack is Nadia Nakai, who is turning the heat up several notches along with a star-studded squad including influencer Faith Nketsi and chef and DJ, Bobby Blanco.

This isn’t just any getaway, it’s a birthday month celebration that proves some dreams really do make it out of the WhatsApp group chat.

Nakai kicked off the FOMO by manifesting every traveller's dream: a snap from the plush comfort of first class with the caption, "We made it out the Group Chat! 😋" to which Bobby Blanco cheekily replied, "Exactly 🫰🏾 now let’s go eat our youth 😮‍💨."

The crew has been hitting the streets of Phuket with an infectious energy, soaking up the vibrant nightlife and local culture.

In a refreshing moment of holiday bliss, Nakai shared her love for the island’s safety and freedom, marveling at being able to walk the busy, neon-lit streets late at night without a care in the world.

"The fact that I'm walking on a very busy street, dressed like this, and not totally afraid for my life is amazing," she said.

From high-octane nightclub sets filled with rounds of shots to late-night party bus rides that ended in the most relatable way possible, a McDonald’s feast back at the hotel, this trip is the perfect blend of luxury and chaos.

But the real showstopper? The fashion! Nakai and Nketsi are serving absolute fire, with Nakai flaunting a wardrobe of jaw-dropping swimwear and breezy summer dresses that have "island goddess" written all over them.

The highlight of the trip so far has been their visit to the ultra-exclusive Yoni Beach Club.

As the world’s first luxury floating beach club, it was the top of Nakai's bucket list, and she didn't disappoint, sharing stories of the group sipping drinks and slurping fresh oysters on ice while floating in the middle of the ocean.

"Guys, I am so excited. This is the reason I wanted to come to Thailand was the Yoni Beach Club. We about to take one of these boats that take us straight to the beach club and I'm about to have a time," she said in one Instagram Story.

Whether they’re tucking into authentic street food or lounging on private boats, these Mzansi stars are showing us exactly how to live our best lives this winter.
