Siya Kolisi criticised for taking new girlfriend to Victoria Falls, his honeymoon spot with Rachel Kolisi

Springboks captain Siya Kolisi is facing public backlash for taking his new girlfriend, Rachel John, to Victoria Falls recently after Rachel Kolisi revealed that it was their honeymoon spot.
Taking to social media and hopping on the 2016 throwback trend, Rachel shared that she and her ex-husband went to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe for their honeymoon after they got married.
“2016 what a year. Nic started school, I was desperately trying to find a job again after a year of unemployment (painted our whole house by myself while I was on the hunt).
“I was a bride. Went to Vic Falls (Zim) for my honeymoon, I started doing stock photoshoots to earn some bucks. Nic experimented with a number of different textures. It was the last year with my Grandpa here,” she captioned her 2016 throwback post.
While her fans loved the post as well as the pictures, some online users expressed that Siya is wrong for taking the “new Rachel” to Vic Falls when he could have taken her anywhere in the world, considering that the place holds a lot of sentimental memories for them.
Early this month, it was revealed that Siya and John were on a getaway together in Vic Falls after some digital digging was conducted.
Shortly after that, a video of Siya and John boarding a yacht together was shared on social media and quickly went viral, confirming that indeed they were enjoying some time together.
This came after it was still speculated that they were a couple when Siya was spotted at John’s intimate birthday celebration at Jeffery’s Bay.
Even though they have been spotted together in Victoria Falls, Siya and John have neither confirmed nor denied the circulating rumours about them.
Online users have expressed how wrong it is for Siya to take John to Victoria Falls under Rachel’s post.
“Vic Falls. Well, I’m a little disappointed then that he chose your honeymoon venue as their first public appearance photo. Classy,” @cappuccinolady commented.
“You went to Victoria Falls for your honeymoon???? Yhooo,” @thobiethobz wrote.
