American actress Gabrielle Union-Wade has once again shown love to South Africa after unexpectedly appearing in a Cape Town local’s karaoke video during a night out in the Mother City.
Cape Town resident Beauty Mangali shared a TikTok video of herself and friends singing, "We Belong Together" by Mariah Carey at Nkula Cocktail & Wine Boutique when Union-Wade casually appeared in the background singing along.
The unexpected celebrity cameo quickly caught the attention of social media users, with many amused by how naturally the Hollywood star blended into the moment.
Reflecting on the now-viral encounter, Mangali admitted that she did not initially realise the actress was standing right beside her.
“I only noticed when I got home that she looks VERY familiar 😭😭😂😂,” admitted Mangali.
The video sparked a flood of reactions online, with users praising Union for keeping things low-key and embracing the authentic moment with locals.
