Mashego, Klate go for trials overseas

SuperSport United players Katlego Mashego and Daine Klate have been invited to go for trials overseas.
Left midfielder Daine Klate will have a week's trial with Dutch side Groningen FC, while striker Mashego will try out with Israel's Maccabi Haifa.
Dutch Premier Division FC Groningen are best known for discovering the Koeman brothers, Ronald and Erwin. The brothers were part of the Dutch team that won the European Championship in Germany in 1988.
United coach Gavin Hunt is backing both players to be a hit.
"I wish them the best of luck," said Hunt.
The United duo flew out to Europe on Tuesday.
It will be a second trial for Mashego in less than a month.
He will be hoping that things will go better for him this time after a failed attempt with Swedish side Djugardens.
Business manager Tim Sukazi confirmed Mashego will join Maccabi on their pre-season tour in Vienna in Austria.
"They (Maccabi) have shown an interest in him, if all goes well they will sign him and travel to Israel to start playing there.
"It's just the question of seeing him in action. We have agreed on a deal," said Sukazi.
Should Mashego fail to secure the move to Europe, two lucrative offers from local PSL sides await him. "The proposals are quite good but we really want to make a European move. We're set on a move abroad," said Sukazi.
Meanwhile, negotiations between former Kaizer Chiefs star Shaun Bartlett and SuperSport have been put on hold. Bartlett will have to wait a little bit longer before he seals a deal with the city side.
The former Bafana Bafana striker's move to United depends on Mashego's progress in Europe.
