Fenerbahce grab Spain's Guiza

Madrid - Mallorca striker Daniel Guiza, top scorer in Spain last season, is about to join his former Spain coach Luis Aragones at Turkish giants Fenerbahce, reports said on Tuesday.
The two sides have reached an agreement and only details over the payment by the Turkish side of €17,4-million (about R209-million) need to be ironed out, daily AS reported. Guiza (27) will earn an annual salary of e3-million, it added.
Marca said the player would sign for five years. It said Aragones, who took over the Turkish side last week after leading Spain to victory at Euro 2008, was instrumental in the deal. Guiza scored 27 goals for Mallorca last season. He joined the club from Getafe in July 2007. - Sapa-AFP
