Dynamos blow lead to draw with Rangers

Published

Dynamos blew a two goal lead to end up with a 2-2 draw against Manning Rangers at the Giyani Stadium on Wednesday.

The Dynamites created numerous scoring opportunities than the Mighty Maulers but they failed to convert their chances.

Good news for the home side though is that Adam Ndlovu has rediscovered the scoring prowess that once made him such a feared striker when he played for Moroko Swallows last season.

He scored a brace on Wednesday when he netted in each half but his goals were not enough to ensure his side their second win of the season.

The lanky Zimbabwean struck in the 33rd minute after he was supplied by the hard-running Joel "Million Dollar" Seroba. Ndlovu scored his second goal after receiving a pass from Simphiwe Mbambo in the 54th minute.

The game continued to move from one end to the other as Dynamos searched for their third goal while Rangers attempted to get their first. But there were some signs that the visitors were getting stronger as the match progressed.

It came as no surprise when they finally scored through Dale Studzinski in the 69th minute, before in-form midfielder Abram Isaks levelled the score two minutes later.

It was Dynamos eighth draw in 13 matches, while Rangers managed their fourth stalemate, also in 13 games. - Sapa
