Exciting Sundowns and South African under-23 midfield player Dan Semake has signed for Hellenic on a two month loan deal. Semake came through the Sundowns'youth Academy.

"It's great to have Dan at the club," said Hellenic coach Bruce Grobelaar.

"He is a skilful player and I look forward to seeing him fight for a place in our midfield. We felt that we needed cover and strength in this position and Dan has the ability and skill to fit in nicely."

Semake was born in Vosloorus on April 30, 1979, and made his debut for Sundowns two years ago.

"I am happy to join Hellenic. I am looking forward to helping the club reach its full potential. I will fight hard for a position in the team and will show what I am made of," said Semake.

"It's great to have a player of Dan's quality join the team," said Hellenic general manager Guy Hedderwick.

"I believe the team is starting to perform to their true potential and Dan will add to the dynamic of the team."

Semake could make his Hellenic debut against Moroka Swallows next Saturday at Green Point.
