London - England captain David Beckham has been given a chilling new look - complete with zombie eyes and robot features - to appear in his first ever computer game.
Beckham, 26, has signed a reported £1-million (about R13m), three-year deal to launch the game - the first to contain exclusive tips from the player, UK software company Rage, which is producing the game, said on Monday.
Players of "David Beckham Soccer" will be taught how to "train like him, play like him and be him", the company said.
They will even be taught how to perfect his trademark free kicks.
Beckham said of the game: "It's great to be involved.
"I love computer games but it will be odd playing a game with my image on screen," he said in a statement. "No-one would be prouder than me if I can pass on a few tips." - Reuters
