SA go green for Steve's Aussies

It was purely coincidental, but the United Cricket Board of SA picked Friday - St Patrick's Day - to launch an innovative campaign to unite support for the national side ahead of the visit by Australia for three one-day internationals next month.

Dubbed the "Green Machine" campaign, it encourages spectators at the grounds - Kingsmead on April 12, Newlands on April 14 and the Wanderers on April 16 - to wear green to show their support for Hansie Cronje's side against the Aussies.

The most original and creative outfits at each venue will win prizes donated by the series sponsors Standard Bank and the UCB.
