DHL Stadium is set to host its first United Rugby Championship (URC) playoff match since 2023 on Saturday, May 30, and the excitement in the Mother City is palpable.

With the DHL Stormers aiming to secure a vital third consecutive URC semifinal appearance, a massive crowd of around 30 000 fans is expected to fill the stands and provide a deafening home-ground advantage.

The Stormers' management is calling on the "Faithful" to turn out in full voice to back the team in this crucial quarter-final clash.

Tickets for the highly anticipated game are available exclusively through Ticketmaster.

The City of Cape Town has alerted spectators to free MyCiTi shuttle services, and parking - free or paid.

The action kicks off at 3.30pm on Saturday, with gates opening at 12.30pm, giving spectators ample time to soak up the atmosphere.

To ensure smooth access for all ticketholders, a free MyCiTi shuttle service will be operating. Shuttles will transport spectators to the stadium from the CTICC, Civic Centre Station, and Thibault Square Station, starting from noon. The last bus will leave the Green Point Precinct at 7.30pm.

For those driving into the city centre, the City of Cape Town has made parking arrangements: Free city parking - parking areas accessible from Hertzog Boulevard incoming and on Civic Avenue will be open to ticketholders from 11.30am on a first-come, first-served basis. This parking will close at 9pm.

Paid parking options - additional paid parking is available at the Parkalot on Jack Craig Street and at Harbour Arch on Harbour Arch Boulevard.

CBD Parking - off-street parking in the CBD is also available and will be free from 1pm on Saturday.

Residents and motorists should be aware that a significant traffic impact is expected in the Green Point area.

Fritz Sonnenberg Road, Stephan Way, Vlei Road, and Granger Bay Boulevard will be impacted from 6am until after the game concludes.

Motorists are advised to plan their routes accordingly and use public transport where possible.
