Somerset West police seek public help in search for missing woman

Somerset West police are appealing for help from the public as they search for a woman who went missing after her walk at Lourensford Farm.
According to the cops, 60-year-old Rika Norris was last seen on the morning of Saturday, May 23, 2026.
Colonel Andrè Traut said: “Somerset West police are appealing to the public for assistance in tracing missing person, Ms Rika Norris (60), who disappeared after going for a walk at Lourensford Farm in Somerset West.
“She was reported missing on Sunday, May 24, 2026, after she was last seen on Saturday, at approximately 10am.
“At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing navy blue ski pants and a multicoloured long-sleeve top.
“The search for the missing woman is currently underway, with SAPS members and other role-players involved in ongoing search efforts in the area.”
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is kindly requested to contact the investigating officer, Sergeant Dawid Stimela on 079 894 0115 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
