Double murder in Kraaifontein: Two 19-year-olds killed, one woman injured

Police are investigating a double murder in Kraaifontein after two men aged 19 were shot and killed. An 18-year-old female was also left wounded during the shooting which took place on Tuesday, December 30 in Dumezweni Street, Wallacedene.
Police spokesperson, Sergeant Wesley Twigg explained: "Kraaifontein police registered two counts of murder and one of attempted murder following a shooting incident on Tuesday night, 30 December 2025, at about 10.30pm in Dumezweni Street, Wallacedene, where two 19-year-old males were shot and fatally wounded and an 18-year-old female shot and wounded.
"Police members were called to the crime scene where they found the victims with gunshot wounds to their bodies.
"The two 19-year-old victims were pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel, while the other victim was taken to a medical facility for treatment.
