On Wednesday, the court is expected to hear whether she may face any additional charges or how far the investigation has progressed.

Jacobs is facing charges relating to the kidnapping of baby Imaad Sharmar in June.

Their team is now awaiting CCTV footage which could mean a second case against Jacobs after a 15-year-old pregnant girl came forward that she had allegedly been approached by a woman named Wasiema and Chevon

During the judgment of her bail application, the Magistrate stated that Jacobs was a mother of minor children who also had the right to be protected and was a suitable candidate for bail.

Imaan Sharmar, Imaad Sharmar who was allegedly kidnapped in June by Sameemah Jacobs speaks of her trauma, healing and growth. She is now seeking emotional support to deal with how Jacobs allegedly manipulated her while befriending her and gaining her trust, which led to the kidnapping.

He added that she was a first-time offender with no outstanding warrants or cases, and that she would not evade her trial and did not have a history of violence.

He said while he sympathised with the family, the state did not provide exceptional circumstances to not allow her bail

Jacobs is the primary caregiver of her three children with the youngest being seven-years-old.

Sergeant Dawid Fortuin of the Serious and Violent Crimes Kidnapping Unit revealed that they were in possession of vital cellphone records which could prove that Jacobs had allegedly represented herself as three different people, that of herself, Wasiema and Chevon Classen who was a NPO sponsor and volunteer for the Zoey project.

During Fortuin's bail testimony, he said that a witness who cannot be identified had visited Jacobs at the Bellville police station and claimed that she didn't kidnap the infant but that the mother gave her the baby and that she showed her with money and takkies.

Evidence had also been led that Jacobs had suffered a miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy.

The State is set to prove that Jacobs kidnapped the infant from his mother at  Middestad Mall in Bellville under the pretence that she was a volunteer for  the NPO.
