Help solve Amanda Manentsha's murder: Police offer R30 000 reward for information

Police are offering a R30 000 cash reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspects behind the killing of Amanda Manentsha who was murdered on the R300 while waiting for her burst car tyre to be repaired.

Police spokesperson, Sergeant Wesley Twigg explained: “Delft police are offering a cash reward of up to R30 000 to anyone who has information which can assist them with a murder investigation.

 “On July 26 , at about 8.20pm, Delft police responded to a shooting incident on the R300 Freeway, in which an adult female was shot and fatally wounded inside her vehicle. 

“The investigating officer exhausted all avenues in a bid to bring the perpetrators to book without any success. A cash reward is offered for the successful arrest and conviction of the suspects.

 “Anyone with any information who can assist with the investigation is kindly requested to contact the investigating officer Detective Constable Onawo Ntintili on 082 522 1294 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.”

Manentsa was inside her vehicle when she was approached by her attackers.

She had reportedly just finished her shift at work and was on her way home when her car’s tyre burst.

She had stopped alongside the R300 near Delft and had contacted a colleague was waiting for assistance when she was ambushed.

Police stated that no personal belongings were taken.

Manentsa leaves behind three girls including a 17-year-old daughter.

Manentsa was a sales rep for a company under South African Breweries.

Freedom Front Plus Councillor, Emre Uygun previously said at the time that they were shocked that the incident occurred close to the notorious Hell Run.
