THE KIMBERLEY police are appealing for the public’s assistance in finding a 35-year-old woman who was reported missing after a night out in the city.
The Kimberley Detective Serious and Violent Crimes unit has launched an urgent search for Abigail Charmaine Phate, a resident of Mokgeledi Street in Galeshewe, who was last seen on Saturday, March 1, 2025.
According to Northern Cape police spokesperson Sergeant Molefi Shemane, Phate was last seen at a nightclub in Kimberley on the night of her disappearance. She was wearing a black top and a blue jean skirt at the time.
Her disappearance has left family and friends deeply concerned, with authorities now urging anyone with information to come forward.
Community members with any information or leads are encouraged to contact the investigating officer, Detective Warrant Officer Andrew Segoje, on 071 208 3094, or call the SAPS Crime Stop number 08600 10111. Reports can also be made at any police station or through the MySAPS App.
Sergeant Shemane also reminded the public that there is no waiting period to report a missing person - immediate action can help save lives.
