Ashton International College Ballito celebrates outstanding 2025 IEB matric results
Ashton International College Ballito proudly announces the exceptional achievements of the Class of 2025 in the IEB National Senior Certificate examinations, continuing the school’s tradition of academic excellence.
Mrs Belinda Boucher, Head of Senior College, expressed her pride in the cohort:
"Ashton International College Ballito is immensely proud of the Class of 2025 and the outstanding results they have achieved in the IEB examinations. These results are a testament to years of consistent effort, resilience, and commitment from our students, supported by an exceptional team of dedicated educators."
"Beyond these exceptional collective outcomes, we celebrate the many individual successes within the cohort," Mrs Boucher continued. "While we acknowledge and congratulate our top achievers, we are equally proud of every student who worked with determination and perseverance to achieve their personal best. Each result represents a journey of growth, discipline, and courage."
The CEO, Mr Andre Buys, also commended the collaborative effort behind these achievements:
"These accomplishments would not be possible without the unwavering commitment of our teaching staff; whose passion and expertise remain at the heart of everything we do. Education is a partnership, and the strong collaboration between students, teachers, and parents creates an environment where excellence thrives."
Looking ahead, Mrs Boucher emphasized Ashton’s holistic approach:

This year’s highlights include:
100% IEB pass rate, maintaining Ashton’s record of excellence.
- A total of 66 distinctions were attained by the top 10 students - this amounts to 6.6 A’s per student.
- The top 10 students attained an overall average of 87.64%.
- 23 students (20.4% of the grade) achieved an aggregate of above 80%.
- 61% of Ashton students that achieved a “B” aggregate and above.
- 89% of Ashton students achieved a “C” aggregate and above.
- The grade average of the entire group added up to be 71.6%
- 8 Students received a “full house” of distinctions.
- Additionally, the following subjects achieved 'A' averages: IsiZulu First Additional Language and Mathematical Literacy.
- A further 16 of our subjects attained averages in the 70% range.
