I live for a throwback done right, and Kris Jenner just served it on a silver platter.

The mom of six shared an Instagram post that had me gagging, in a good way, recreating a red Valentino gown she first rocked in the 1980s.

Yes, the same gown she wore on a date night with her late husband, Robert Kardashian Sr., cinched waist, black bow and all. Valentino has always been the ultimate for timeless glamour, and the fact that she still has a vintage piece from decades ago? Chef’s kiss. That’s what I call investment dressing.

Valentino has long been the benchmark for timeless elegance. From the opulent couture of the ’80s to today’s modern red carpet hits, a Valentino gown is the kind of investment piece that thrives with age.

Especially when the original is still in your wardrobe, tucked away and ready for its renaissance moment.

In the original pic, Jenner is glowing with Kardashian by her side, giving us all the romantic nostalgia.

Jenner, with her glam squad, brought the look into 2025 with flair.

The recreated gown debuted at the 20th Anniversary of L’Oréal Paris Women of Worth event, where she and daughter Kendall Jenner stepped out serving legacy vibes.

This time, she layered a sleek black blazer over the strapless number, added matching gloves, and slayed the modern twist without losing the original charm. Sis is apparently wearing gloves these days because there are no facelifts for hands.

Over the years, the famous momager hasn’t shied away from getting real about the memories she holds of Robert. On more than one occasion, she’s shared tributes, writing, “There’s not a day that goes by that we don’t miss you,” alongside family photos of him with their kids.

She even openly called her time with him “a blessing,” saying she cherishes “every single memory” from sweet, family afternoons to the joy when their son was born, celebrated by Robert’s Armenian family with traditional gifts and culturally rich moments.

Valentino then, Valentino now… Jenner proves that true style is timeless.
