Marking its ninth anniversary, the Ahmed Al-Kadi Hospital officially opened its facility AAK Heart & Vascular Centre of Excellence.

The launch comes at a crucial time, as KwaZulu-Natal faces a growing burden of cardiovascular disease, including hypertension and heart-related conditions linked to socio-economic challenges.
The new facility offers advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiology, minimally invasive endovascular procedures, a dedicated Cardiac ICU for critical care and multidisciplinary specialist collaboration.
