Miss SA 2023, Natasha Vermaak, shared a throwback video showing the preparations she made to tell her husband that they were expecting their first child.

South African media personality Natasha Vermaak is giving us all the feels as she reflects on the magical moments of her pregnancy since her due date is approaching.
This time around, the former Miss SA gave fans a peek into the unforgettable day when she prepared to reveal the heart-warming news to her husband, Enrico, that they were about to become parents for the first time.
“A few days after I found out I'm pregnant. Enrico was on a hunting trip for 3 days before I could tell him, and joh it was so hard not to just pick up the phone and tell him!🤣😭.
“So many special memories to still share. Since we are patiently waiting for our little girl, here are some special moments leading up to now.💛,” Vermaak captioned her post on Instagram.
She also shared a video showing that she got balloons, adorable baby shoes, a romper written “Baba Vermaak”, a matching hat and a positive pregnancy test for the announcement.
The beauty queen also said that at the time when she was making the video, no one knew except her sister.
“My husband is gonna find out in one hour that I’m pregnant. Then we need to tell my mom,” she said.
Since she did not share a video of her husband’s reaction, she gave a teaser in the comment section that she will share the highly anticipated video soon.
Since finding out that she was expecting in October 2025, Vermaak constantly shared an unfiltered look into what life has been like as a pregnant woman for the first time.
This includes the weight gain, the recommended things to include in your hospital bag, attending delivery classes and antenatal classes with her husband.
She also advised all new moms to do their research because every little bit of information will help them navigate and possibly ease their pregnancy.
Vermaak also made an Instagram highlight with information, recommendations, products and more dedicated to all pregnant moms who might find the information useful.
