Enjoy spring with top musical acts to rock Joburg this weekend

The Mango Groove 40th Anniversary Concert: ‘Memories and Moments'

To celebrate four decades in the music industry, Mango Groove are hosting a special anniversary concert.

It will see them taking to the stage to perform some of the hit songs from their impressive discography, including “Dance Sum More”, “Special Star” and many more. There will also be special guest performances from Ross Learmonth and Majozi.

Where: The Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden.

When: Sunday, September 14, from 12.30pm to 5.30pm.

Corona Sunsets Festival

Enjoy the warmer weather as well as top musical performances at this event, which also features art installations, live art murals, food gardens, drum circles, face painting and more.

The musical line-up includes Abby Nurock, Dwson, Roz 340ML, AMÉMÉ, Baby Whitz, DBN Gogo, Crazy White Boy ft. Nonku Phiri, Culoe De Song, FKA Mash, Jeremy Loops and DJ Kent.

They will be joined by Kid Fonque, Major League DJz, Mila-Rose, MÖRDA, Oscar Mbo, Roz, Sio, Ten Oceans, as well as Zakes Bantwini and a sunset moment with the Ndlovu Youth Choir.

Where: Casalinga in Muldersdrift.

When: Saturday, September 13, from 12pm to 11pm.

Welcome to Bollywood

This three-day event is a celebration of Indian culture, cuisine, music, and fashion as the biggest Indian Cultural Festival in Joburg.

Attendees can expect live music, traditional dances, fashion shows, a curated market, as well as an array of food and beverages.

Where: Montecasino’s Outdoor Events Area. Montecasino 

When: Friday, September 12, until Sunday, September 14, from 12pm to 10pm.
