The World Sports Betting Cape Town Met

This event, which is a highlight of the Cape Town social scene, is making its epic return this weekend as it combines high-stakes horse racing with avant-garde fashion.

The theme for this year is “Symphony of Style”, which allows attendees to be creative in their interpretation of the dress code. It is also a chance to interpret the mix of orchestral elegance and the visual drama of a modern circus.

The Met will also feature  live musical performances, fashion shows, horseracing action, Best Dressed competitions, art installations and many more.

Where: Hollywoodbets Kenilworth.

When: Saturday, January 31, from 10am.

The Stellenbosch Harvest Festival

This gathering is Stellenbosch’s first big wine bash of the year. This edition also celebrates the 55th anniversary of the Stellenbosch Wine Routes, a leader in wine tourism locally and internationally.

This journey will be commemorated during The Harvest Parade where this year’s bounty from the vineyards will be welcomed. It will also be a show of thanks to the farmers and workers in the region.

There will also be lively music by local brass musicians in a procession through the streets of the historic town.

Where: Begins at the Toy and Miniature Museum in Stellenbosch.

When: Saturday, January 31, from 9am.

Delheim Wine Estate’s 

This annual gathering allows visitors to engage directly in a hands-on approach to the wine-making process

Guests can enjoy a variety of activities, including grape harvesting and stomping, scenic tractor rides through the vineyards and limited cellar tours. 

There is also a traditional winelands harvest lunch, live music and an opportunity to meet the estate owners. 

Where: The Delheim Wine Estate.

When: Sunday, February 1, from 9am.
