Canadian rock musician Bryan Adams will perform in South Africa in April 2026 as part of his global “Roll with the Punches” tour.

The tour follows the release of his sixteenth studio album, “Roll with the Punches”, which came out last month, under his independent label, Bad Records.

Adams’ interest in music began at a young age. He began playing the guitar and writing songs as a teenager, inspired by the rock and pop artists of the 1960s and 1970s.

His passion for music led him to perform locally before eventually being discovered and signing his first record deal in the late 1970s.

Over the years, he has built a career spanning more than four decades, earning recognition for his live performances and a catalogue of hits that have defined rock music across generations.

The South African leg of the tour will visit three cities. In Cape Town, Adams will perform at the Grand Arena, GrandWest, on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.

Pretoria audiences can see him at the SunBet Arena, Time Square, on Saturday, April 25. The tour will conclude in Durban at the ICC Durban on Tuesday, April 28.

The “Roll with the Punches” album features a combination of rock tracks and ballads.

Notable songs include “Roll with the Punches” and “Make Up Your Mind”, which Adams described as: “The song is about deciding in a relationship whether to move forward together or finally let go. If you’ve ever questioned the past, longed for another chance or felt the bittersweet sting of ‘what if’, this song is for you,” as well as 'Never Ever Let You Go' and 'A Little More Understanding'."

Fans attending the concerts can expect to hear songs from the new album, and maybe a few of Adams’ classic hits.

Some of his classic hits include: “Run To You”, “Somebody”, “Heaven” and “Please Forgive Me”.

The mix of new material and enduring classics promises a full experience of Adams’ career for audiences.
