Young Stunna (real name Sandile Msimango) has done it again, this time surprising his mother with a brand new car.
The artist continues to show that his success goes beyond hit songs and sold-out shows.
The amapiano star recently surprised his mother by having his former high school friends, who now work at a dealership, personally deliver her new wheels.
The sweet moment was shared on his Instagram stories on Monday, January 19, with fans praising him. “You just secured yourself 20 more years of life on top of what you already had! Well done, champ,” said one fan.
The car arrived parked outside his mother’s home, covered in a red cloth and topped with a big blue bow.
Stunna went inside to fetch his mother before revealing the big surprise. Sharing the moment, he wrote, “Caught her crusty, you can blame me. Made her year. Anything for my mom, first successful surprise.”

It is not the first time the “Sithi Shwi” hitmaker has gone out of his way to celebrate and spoil his mother. In 2025, he treated her to a luxury trip to Dubai, sharing pictures of her enjoying some of the city’s most iconic landmarks and experiences.
From sightseeing at the Burj Khalifa to desert adventures and poolside relaxation, the trip showed just how proud Young Stunna is of the woman who raised him.
The 25-year-old artist has never been shy to express the love he has for his mother. He previously spoke openly about how important his mother and family are to him.
Going back to the fan’s comment, it speaks to a belief that is common in many African cultures, where taking care of your parents or elders is seen as a blessing upon your life, which is often associated with favour.
