Kate Middleton has a knack for turning everyday moments into royal style statements - even walking backwards off a fighter jet in sky-high heels.
On a recent visit to a UK airforce base, the Princess of Wales, 43, proved that a pair of 10cm stilettos is no match for her balance and poise.
Appointed as the base’s new Royal Honorary Air Commodore, she climbed the jet stairs to peek into the cockpit of a Typhoon fighter plane before making her descent - backwards.
With one hand on the rail and the other free for conversation, she handled the eight steep steps like it was second nature.
Her outfit struck the right note: a tailored grey check suit that nodded to military precision while keeping things chic and modern.
Stylish yet practical, it was the kind of look only Kate could make seem effortless.
Adding a family touch, “Commodore Catherine” shared that her youngest, Prince Louis, is keen on becoming a fighter pilot. Laughing, she explained that she told him it would take “eight years and a lot of hard work” - much to the amusement of those around her.
Between navigating jet stairs in heels and juggling motherhood with royal duties, Kate once again reminded the world why she’s a favourite.
If anyone can turn a military base visit into a runway-worthy moment, it’s the Princess of Wales.
