Caster Semenya won the women's 800m final and left SA with immense pride, and some in franctic state.
Semenya’s decisive victory in Rio saw her posting a new national record of 1:55.28.
It was 2.15 am South African time when Semenya ran, but many South Africans either stayed up or woke up to watch her.
