For the first time in their 40-year career, the Eagles will be heading to our shores to perform.
Don’t miss out on the Cape Town leg of their tour at Cape Town Stadium on April 4.
The band – Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B Schmit – are to perform a two-hour concert featuring some of their classic hits like Hotel California, Desperado, Take It Easy, One of These Nights, Heartache Tonight, and Take It To The Limit.
South African fans will also be treated to band members’ solo hits, such as Boys of Summer, Life in the Fast Lane and Dirty Laundry.
The Eagles have sold more than 120 million albums worldwide, chalking up five No 1 US singles and six Grammy Awards.
Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 is listed by some sources as the best-selling album of all time, exceeding 29 million sales.
The band’s Hotel California has sold more than 16 million units and their Greatest Hits Volume 2 more than 11 million. The Eagles were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
