The highly anticipated Wings Over Winelands Airshow is set to take to the skies on Saturday, May 16, 2026, promising a spectacular day of aviation excellence, family entertainment, and world-class hospitality at the iconic Vergelegen Wine Estate in the heart of the Cape Winelands.
The demonstrations will showcase a mix of precision aerobatics, formation flying, and fast jet performance. Spectators will be guided through the manoeuvres by commentator Ian Fraser, who will provide insight into the aircraft and pilots throughout the day.

Set against one of South Africa's most scenic backdrops, the event will offer a full day of thrilling aerial displays and ground experiences for aviation enthusiasts and visitors. The flying programme is scheduled to run from 10:00 to 15:00 and features an exciting line-up of performers. Key acts include the Marksman Aerobatic Display Team, the Raptors RV Display Team, the Aérospatiale Gazelle, and the iconic Aero L-29 Delfín jet display.
