Charlene Kleynhans from Bloemhof took home the title of first runner-up, showcasing the incredible talent and empowerment represented by all the contestants. Venter's victory grants her the prestigious opportunity to represent South Africa at the 49th Mrs Universe pageant scheduled for October, where she will join contestants from over 100 nations in one of the world’s most renowned international pageants tailored specifically for married and divorced women.

The Mrs Universe South Africa pageant extends beyond conventional beauty standards; it serves as a proactive initiative aimed at raising awareness for organisations supporting victims of domestic abuse. Contestants leverage this platform to forge networks, reach personal goals, and become inspirational leaders in their communities. At the heart of the pageant's mission is the belief that it is never too late for women to pursue their dreams and create a future rich in opportunity.

"Married and divorced women are the backbone of society," said a representative of the pageant. "Through the Mrs Universe South Africa platform, we celebrate these women from all walks of life with our slogan, 'Celebrate You!' Our contestants, aged between 22 and 55, embody strength and resilience, becoming powerful advocates against domestic violence." The pageant also features a unique forum dedicated to addressing issues of domestic abuse, engaging contestants in meaningful dialogue and community outreach.

By providing mentorship and coaching, Mrs Universe South Africa empowers its contestants to transform their life experiences into tools for advocacy and impact. The titleholders emerge as dynamic ambassadors for South Africa, emphasising solidarity and strength while championing awareness around critical social issues.
