Discover festive family fun at Canal Walk this holiday season

This December, families seeking festive fun are invited to dive into a magical world of nonstop fun at Canal Walk’s Centre Court. From 5 December 2025 to 11 January 2026, the vibrant venue will host an exciting array of activities, featuring two exhilarating slides that promise to delight visitors of all ages.

The highlight of the event is the classic dual-lane ice slide, aptly named Slide 626. Designed for friendly competition, this slide invites thrill-seekers aged five and above to grab their inflatable boats and race side by side to see who can reach the bottom first. It’s a perfect setting for families to bond, sharing laughter and cheers as they navigate the slide's icy twists and turns.

For the more adventurous, the Akatoo-kee Slide offers a high-speed experience that begins with a gentle glide before a dramatic drop launches riders into the air, landing safely on an airbag below. This attraction is undoubtedly designed to provide an adrenaline rush for older kids and teenagers looking for a unique thrill.

Recognising the importance of inclusivity, the event also boasts a specially designed mini slide tailored for younger guests, ensuring that even the littlest of adventurers can join in the fun without feeling left out. Additionally, parents can indulge their children’s creativity in the snow play and sand play zones. Here, little ones can build, shape, and explore while engaging in sensory play, perfect for fostering holiday cheer and imagination.

As families embark on their adventure, a professional photographer will be on hand to capture those daring and joyful moments. Action shots will be available for purchase at the photo ticket box office, allowing guests to take home a piece of their festive experience.

The event has been thoughtfully designed with affordability and accessibility in mind. Full Rider tickets are available for those aged five and up, granting access to both major slides alongside snow and sand play. Mini Rider tickets cater to children under five, providing them with access to the mini slide, snow play, and sand play. For those little ones aged three to five who feel ready to try their hand at Slide 626, a Mini Rider Plus ticket is available. Adults accompanying children can purchase Non-Rider tickets for entry as well. Early-bird packages on Webtickets offer added value for families, encouraging them to make the most of this festive outing.
