Mzansi loves a good amapiano track, especially one that gets us moving with a dance challenge — and “Yebo Lapho” (Gogo) has certainly delivered. From the moment the song dropped, it grabbed headlines and lit up social media.

This banger features fresh talent Scotts Maphuma alongside DJ Maphorisa, who needs no introduction as a staple of South African music.

Thabza Tee and DJy Biza also throw their magic into the mix, turning “Yebo Lapho” into a hit that’s got people of all ages grooving.

But it’s not just the song that’s been making noise. South African choreographer Limpopo Boy has been doing the country proud on the international stage, pushing Mzansi culture forward through his dance moves.

Touring various countries, he’s been spreading the joy of amapiano worldwide.

Recently, Limpopo Boy met up with Gayton McKenzie, the Minister of the Department of Sports, Arts, and Culture, who’s been the talk of the town himself since stepping into office.

Limpopo Boy taught the minister the viral “Yebo Lapho” moves, and the video quickly found its way onto social media.

Limpopo Boy thanked the minister in his post, saying, “It’s a Celebration. Thank you OUR ENERGETIC MINISTER. Thank you team LimpopoBoy.”

McKenzie even gave a shout-out to Limpopo Boy on social media, calling him a national treasure and praising their lively and “furniture-moving” dance session.

Fans raved about Minister McKenzie for being a constant vibe.

@CalliePhakathi took to X: “Ai no this minister tho he’s working & acknowledging everyone in the field. He’s there on the ground with people, really refreshing to see.”

@freedomtoday99 commented: “I told everyone you will soon meet our minister and I was right. He got the call and he was there. Your talent will not go unnoticed by this minister.”

@xavia_poswa wrote: “It’s important for people know that you danced in Dr Malinga’s song called ‘Solala Kusasa’ years ago!!! Hard work and determination does pay off. Beautiful to see this in action.”
