PSL finally confirm fixtures for new Betway Premiership season

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) have finally confirmed the fixtures for the highly anticipated 2024/25 Betway Premiership season.

The first league match of the season will take place on September 14th, and will see champions Mamelodi Sundowns taking on SuperSport United at 3pm at Loftus Versfeld. It is expected to be an exciting match as both teams aim to start the season on a positive note.

KwaZulu Natal-based outfit Royal AM will lock horns against Cape Town City at Harry Gwala Stadium in Pietermaritzburg, also at 3pm.

Buccaneers faithful will also get to see their side in action as Orlando Pirates will play against Chippa United at Orlando Stadium as they begin their quest to break Sundowns’ dominance.

Kaizer Chiefs will take on top flight newcomers Marumo Gallants as the club enters a new era under Tunisian coach Nasreddine Nabi at Toyota Stadium.

Amakhosi had a dismal campaign last season where they finished in 10th place, and will be looking to bring back the glory days.

Other fixtures on the 14th also include Polokwane City against AmaZulu at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium, while, Sekhukhune United will face off against newly promoted side Magesi FC at the new Peter Mokaba Stadium.

3pm: Mamelodi Sundowns vs SuperSport United, Loftus Versfeld Stadium

3pm: Royal AM vs Cape Town City, Harry Gwala Stadium

5.30pm: Orlando Pirates vs Chippa United, Orlando Stadium

5.30pm: Marumo Gallants vs Kaizer Chiefs, Toyota Stadium

8pm: Polokwane City vs AmaZulu, Old Peter Mokaba Stadium

8pm: Sekhukhune United vs Magesi FC, New Peter Mokaba Stadium

Fixtures on the 15th of September

3pm: Richards Bay v FC TS Galaxy FC, King Zwelithini Stadium

5.30pm: Stellenbosch FC v Golden Arrows, Danie Craven Stadium
