Kaizer Chiefs on Wednesday confirmed the signing of Angolan international Inacio Miguel, as the Soweto giants continue to strengthen their squad for the new season.
Chiefs signed the 28-year-old centre-back from Angolan giants Petro de Luanda on a three-year deal, and will be hoping that he can hit the ground running. Chiefs will be desperate to turn the club's fortunes around after finishing in 10th place in the Betway Premiership last season under a new coach Nasreddine Nabi.

First Angolan international to sign for Chiefs
Miguel is the first Angolan international to play for the Soweto-based club. He has represented "Black Sable Antelopes" a total of five times including in the World Cup qualifiers against Central African giants Cameroon.
Angola, are currently fourth in Group D after collecting just six points in four matches.

Started his career in Europe
Miguel made his professional debut in 2016 with Braga B in the second tier of Portuguese football against C.D. Aves.
During his youth career the he also played for teams such Gil Vicente, Mafra and Ericeirense.
Versatile Player
While the 28-year-old is an established centre-back, he can also play as right-back.
His versatility could be valuable for new Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi as he seeks to strengthen the defence following the club's disastrous campaign last season.
Experienced campaigner
At 28-years-old Miguel is an experienced player, he was an important part of the Petro de Luanda team that participated in the CAF Champions League last season.
He was also crucial in helping the Angolan side clinch the Girabola title which is equivalent to the Premiership in South Africa.
Born Portugal
Miguel was born in Portugal in the Torres Vedras municipality which is north of the Portuguese capital Lisbon.
