Igesund’s dad dies

Johannesburg – Bafana Bafana coach Gordon Igesund on Tuesday said he is devastated by the death of his father.

“This is a massive loss. He was the rock of my life,” Igesund said in a statement.

The SA Football Association (Safa) extended its heartfelt condolences to Igesund on the passing of Gordon Igesund snr.

He died on Monday at the age of 81.

He is survived by his wife, four children, his grandchildren and great grandchildren. – Sapa
