How does a Crispy Quinoa Salad sound? Or how about a Chipotle pulled mushroom and spinach taco with cashew, cheese and green slaw? Sounds appealing? Well, now you can try your hand at making these tantalising dishes at the Good Life Show.

The Woolworths Masterclass with PlantLove is a major exclusive feature at the Good Life Show, and will give foodies and culinary enthusiasts an opportunity to take their skills to a new level through a high-quality hands-on, cooking experience run by expert chefs and mixologists.

Tickets are limited to 20 per class and cost just R150 each, which includes all the ingredients and the opportunity to cook along with your favourite chef/mixologist.

Ticket holders can attend as many Masterclasses as they like, which are additional to the Good Life Show’s general admission ticket.

As Africa’s only sustainable food, drink and lifestyle show, the Good Life Show sets the stage for a weekend of great fun aimed at the whole family, foodies as well as those looking to discover high-quality innovative products. Not only will visitors have the chance to taste, test and purchase an array of plant-based, natural, organic, free-from, and sustainable living products, but they will also be able to interact with and experience unique exhibitors, exclusive features and immersive experiences.

Taking place at the Kyalami International Convention Centre, from July 26-28. The Good Life Show brings together the prominent ‘Plant Powered Show’ and the ground-breaking ‘Natural and Organic Show’ all under one roof, and will host numerous exhibitors, including those in the ‘Free- From’ and ‘Sustainable-Living’ sectors.

As part of the many exciting features and immersive experiences on offer, visitors to The Good Life Show will be able to watch live cooking demos in the Woolworths Good Life Kitchen or take part (at an additional cost) in some exclusive, interactive Masterclasses in the Woolworths Masterclass with PlantLove.

There’s a fabulous line-up of top chefs taking part at the culinary extravaganza including: Aiden Pienaar – ‘Mexico in Mzansi’ Cookbook Author. Currently head chef at Second Story in Sandton, he has recently launched the cookbook, which fuses two colourful cuisines together, Mexican and South African.

Andile Somdaka - Executive Chef at Eziko Restaurant. This decorated chef, who successfully served as chef for two former presidents, is a passionate advocate of African traditional foods and ingredients.

Deena Naidoo - Recipe and Food Content Creator. Winner MasterChef SA S1, Deena will be entertaining and inspiring audiences with some delicious Indian creations.

Emma-Claire Peter - Culinary Innovator. Experienced culinary innovator with 18 years’ experience across multiple disciplines within the greater food industry in SA and internationally.

Emma Morey (innovation chef), Monique Malan (product developer in plant-based meat alternatives), Anita van Wyk (Tabu Foods) - Woolworths Chefs. As headline sponsor, Woolworths will be bringing these three amazing culinary experts to create some delicious and innovative dishes.

Jessica Munisamy - Modern Tailors Restaurant: As the Executive Chef from Joburg’s lauded Modern Tailors Indian restaurant, Jessica believes food brings families and people together.

Katlego Mlambo - Executive Chef Four Seasons, The Westcliff and MasterChef South Africa Judge. A Silwood School of Cookery graduate, Katlego has 15 years of experience working under some of the best chefs in South Africa.

Mixologist Masterclass - Mianca Laubscher. Laubscher emerges as a seasoned mixologist and specialist beverage consultant, boasting an impressive 13-year journey within the hospitality industry.

Reabetjoe Mokoko– The Cooking Dietitian, this dietitian is utterly passionate about making healthy, delicious food.

Siphiwe Sithole - Advocate for Indigenous African Foods, believes in taking indigenous foods out of the periphery into the mainstream.

Siyabulela Kobo – Owner of Kobo Cuisine. Acclaimed chef and self-titled ‘Son of the Soil’.

Sue Gajathar - The Vegan Chef, Sue creates delectable gourmet and artisanal vegan food that is good for you and great for the planet.

Vanessa Jarvis Findlay - Visionary Entrepreneur and Culinary Artist. As the founder, chef, and owner of the award-winning NEKED Food, a renowned 5-star vegan restaurant nestled in the picturesque town of Clarens, Vanessa has redefined plant- based dining with her innovative creations.

Zana Alvarado – Durban-based Chef, is one of the few chefs in the country certified by the World Chefs Association in Sustainability Education for Culinary Professionals.
