Two people woke up smiling on Monday after bagging the Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 jackpots over the weekend.
According to National Lottery Ithuba, one person won R7,669,551.20 in the Lotto Plus 1 jackpot from the February 1, 2025 draw.
In the same draw, another person won R11,066,488.80 in the Lotto Plus 2.
"Both winning tickets were purchased via banking Apps, meaning the winners can expect an exciting call from their banks this morning (Monday morning)," said Ithuba CEO Charmaine Mabuza.
She said the banks would advise winners to visit their nearest Ithuba offices to validate their tickets and claim their winnings.
Expressing her excitement over the latest wins, Mabuza said:“At Ithuba, we are committed to changing lives through the National Lottery, and this weekend’s wins are a testament to the incredible opportunities the Lotto games create for South Africans.
"We encourage our winners to come forward and claim their prizes while taking advantage of the free financial and trauma counseling that Ithuba offers."
Ithuba reminded players that all winnings are tax-free.
Last week a man claimed the R102million Powerball jackpot.
He said he had been praying to win R15 million so that he could start a business.
