Good and bad news for Bafana ahead of qualifiers

Thanks to the late start of the PSL’s new Betway Premiership League, players called up for Bafana Bafana duty will not be exhausted when they arrive for camp at the end of July. However, the Premiership starts in mid-September, and only eight clubs will be playing in the MTN8 competition. As a result, players not involved in the MTN8 could lack the competitive edge when they are called up.
