On the back of Tyla’s Mother City performance at the Grand Arena on Wednesday, the superstar is set to deliver an electrifying performance at the SunBet Arena in Menlyn on Saturday, December 7.
These concerts are the Grammy Award-winner’s first local tour since her meteoric rise to global stardom with her hit single “Water”.
Our “pretty girl from Joburg” South Africa tour is in partnership with Vodacom, together with Anything Goes and Showtime Management, presented in association with KFM 94.5 and 947.

The supporting acts for her Joburg concert are Kelvin Momo, R&B star Filah Lah Lah, Daliwonga, Optimist and Ez Maestro.
The “Jump” hitmaker has a long list of accolades to her name.
In February, she won the inaugural Best African Music Performance award at the 2024 Grammys for her viral hit “Water”
She also bagged the Best Afrobeats honours at the MTV Video Music Awards in September, following her Billboard and BET wins earlier this year.
Her self-titled debut album, which was released in March, has also been a resounding success.
The songstress is also closing the year on a high note with eight nominations at the Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs).
Tyla was nominated for Top R&B Artist, Top Afrobeats Artist, Top R&B Song, Top R&B Album and Top R&B Female Artist Awards.
The multi-award-winning star made history as the first artist in the BBMAs to be nominated three times in a single category.
Her songs “Water”, “Truth or Dare” and “Jump” were all nominated for the Top Afrobeats Song Award.

Thandiswa Mazwai live at the State Theatre
Thandiswa Mazwai is set to end her whirlwind 2024 off with a concert in Pretoria on Saturday, December 7.
Following her shows in New York, Canada, London as well as in Boston recently, the musician is returning to South Africa with a Thanksgiving show called “Umbulelo”.
“Her fans can expect music across all her albums including new favourites ‘Sabala’, ‘Kulungile’, ‘Emini’ and ‘Children of the Soil,’” a statement read.
She added: “This show is to give thanks to everyone who has supported me, my family, my friends and the beautiful people who listen to my music.
This has been a year filled with many highlights for Mazwai.
Not only did she celebrate two decades of her iconic debut album, “Zabalaza”, but she also celebrated the release of her new album, “Sankofa.”
This release came with a TinyDesk performance that has reached almost 900k views on YouTube and several tours around the world.
Mazwai, who has been one of the most influential post-apartheid singers in South Africa, began her career in 1996 with music groups Jack Knife and Bongo Maffin, one of the pioneering bands of the dance music genre Kwaito.
After six award-winning albums with Bongo Maffin, she ventured onto a solo career.

Meanwhile, zone 2 is the sweetest spot along Santa’s trail as it includes Santa’s Milky Lane, which will transform into a sweet haven for families to build Rudolph’s magical trail bag and explore the festive maze.
Next, shoppers will get to step into a high-tech, North Pole-inspired digital wonderland at Santa’s Igloo.
“The Igloo will showcase a fully immersive winter experience that transports one to the North Pole, without the chill,” the statement added.
You can also bounce your way through Santa’s Ball Playground while The Wishing Wall is a place where families can post their hopes and dreams for the new year.
There will also be festive delights to enjoy at the several pop-ups including Oh My Cake, Cotton Candy Lane, Milky Lane, Pizza Hut.
