The L'Observeur du Design exhibition, an internationally recognised French exhibition which has toured Seoul, Stockholm, Tokyo, Moscow, Budapest, Belgrade and Istanbul, ends its visit to South Africa tomorrow.

The exhibition, themed French Innovation 2010, is part of French Week which has been held this week at the Forum in Bryanston.

Over the past 20 years, French design has exploded globally in every sector of the economy, propelled by seasoned designers, using a wide variety of approaches in their artistic and technical endeavours.

This is its first visit to Africa, and the exhibition is open to the public free of charge, from 8am to 6pm.

Over 100 design objects from France and South Africa are being showcased.

J'Adore South Africa's sponsors such as Accor, Air France, Lafarge South Africa, Renault South Africa and Total are exhibiting products and services that relate to innovation in technology, transport, building development and tourism.

Today, tease your taste buds at the Beaujolais Nouveau festival, a traditional young French wine festival which is celebrated around the world.

At midnight in France, over 60-million bottles, from the Beaujolais area, make the trek to Paris for worldwide distribution.
