Cape Town’s beloved comedy duo, Joe Barber, is celebrating their 25th anniversary with an extended run of their much-anticipated show. Due to overwhelming demand, additional dates have been announced for fans to catch this iconic comedy experience.

The new shows are scheduled for Wednesday, October 16, and Thursday, October 17 2024. Tickets are on sale now, starting at just R195, and can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.co.za.

These new dates come in addition to the already almost sold-out performances on Friday, October 18 and Saturday, October 19, which will also be held at GrandWest, Cape Town. With tickets flying fast, fans are encouraged to secure their seats soon to avoid disappointment.

The Joe Barber show, a cherished fixture of Cape Town’s entertainment scene, follows the humorous escapades of Boeta Joe and Boeta Gamat in their local barber shop. The show also features the endearing characters Washiela and Outjie. Created, written by, and starring Oscar Petersen and David Isaacs, Joe Barber has become a beloved part of the city’s cultural fabric.

Oscar Petersen expressed his gratitude, saying, “The lives of Gamat, Joe, Washiela, and Outjie have become ingrained in the hearts of our fans, and we feel extremely fortunate to still feel the love!”

David Isaacs highlighted the significance of the anniversary being launched in Cape Town: “Joe Barber was conceptualised in Cape Town, it takes place in Cape Town, and for us, it makes sense that the 25th anniversary is celebrated right here in the Mother City.”

Ticket prices for the anniversary shows are categorised as follows: Mezzanine seats are available from R195, Retracts from R295, and Floor Seating from R395. Please note that the show is not suitable for persons under the age of 12.
