Music lovers are in for a treat during 2025 with some of South Africa’s biggest artists promising to release new music.
Legendary rapper K.O who has been in the music industry for a decade and has been able to consistently keep with the times while growing and maintaining his authenticity as an artist.
The rapper told IOL that fans can expect more music for him in 2025 with a highly anticipated album “I Think You Spoke Too Soon”, scheduled for release. The album’s title shifts away from previous titles “Skhanda Republic”, “SR2” and “SR3”.
“I’m pretty excited about that because I feel young again.
“The album I think is going to be the go to album this year,” he teased that the album is expected to surpass the singles he released in 2024.
Fellow rapper Moozlie has been promising her fans new music but being the creative she is, the releases have yet to occured. While she is going with the flow and seeing how 2025 will unfold, Moozlie says she will release music.
“Definitely new music, it’s long overdue. I have also decided that if I do not release my clothing brand this year, I’m not going into 2026.”
Acclaimed singer and songwriter Thabsie, in November last year, after a four-year musical hiatus released new music, much to the delight of her fans. She won’t be taking her foot off the pedal as she will be releasing more music. “Music, that’s what the year is going to be about.”
Rapper Zingah also hinted at the growth of his podcast “Choppin It With Bhuda T” in 2025 and opted not to commit to any music release just in case, it actually doesn’t happen.
