Acclaimed South African artist Chad Saaiman is set to captivate music enthusiasts with his highly anticipated R&B EP, titled "4 Part 1", which was released on Friday, February 7.

This four-track collection is a significant milestone for Saaiman, marking his first major release in several years and showcasing the exceptional collaborative effort with award-winning producer Shaney Jay.

"Working with Shaney Jay made this project even more special as we created the vision together,“ Saaiman remarked, reflecting on the synergetic partnership that shaped the EP.

The lead single features fellow South African favourite Jimmy Nevis, marking their first collaboration together.

"’2K’ is about heartbreak, while ‘Magnificent' and ‘Us’ celebrate the beauty of love amidst life's challenges," Saaiman elaborated, providing insight into the thematic diversity of the tracks.

Saaiman is no stranger to the music scene. With over 15 years of professional performance experience, he has graced stages globally, drawing crowds from Cape Town to international venues.

A South African Music Awards (Sama) nominated artist, Saaiman has already unveiled three albums, one EP, and an array of chart-topping hits, including “Play”, featuring YoungstaCPT, “No Feelings” with Kerwin and “Seeing Stars”.

Having penned over 60 songs, both for himself and various artists, he continues to leave an indelible mark on the South African music landscape.

The University of the Western Cape alumnus, who majored in English Literature and Communications, also upheld his commitment to personal growth.

Recently, he completed a Brand Management qualification with Get Smarter and the University of Cape Town.

"Growth and constant improvement are pivotal to achieving longevity in the entertainment industry," Saaiman stated, reflecting on his approach to sustaining success.

In addition to his musical prowess, Saaiman heads Stereotype Talent Management, a successful artist management and booking agency, where he oversees talent and event logistics.

His involvement in event curation is illustrated through his flagship events, including "The Chad Session" and "The Chad Saaiman Fives Tournament”, both of which have become popular in the local entertainment calendar.

Additionally, Saaiman hosts "Saaiman Says”, a well-received radio show on Good Hope FM, where he highlights emerging artists and engages in conversations with superstars - including the likes of Craig David and Jonathan Butler.

His standing as a founding member of one of SA's most successful corporate cover bands, The Black Ties, demonstrates his versatility and enduring influence in the music industry.

As he looks forward to Valentine's Day performance alongside The Black Ties at Radisson Red, Saaiman has plans to continue showcasing his artistry.

"For me, it's not about where I want to go with music; it’s about the connection and experience I can provide through my songs," he shared in an exclusive interview with “Independent Media Lifestyle”.

Chad’s message to his fans resonates deeply with his belief in positivity: "The message is to move with love, grace, and kindness. Music is a gift, and I am very lucky to have it as a medium of expression. I look forward to many more years of creating.“

The release of "4 Part 1" is just the beginning of this new chapter for Saaiman, and his journey is bound to offer listeners an unforgettable experience.
