Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye was among the attendees of the Mkhonto weSizwe(MK) Party anniversary, this past weekend.
In a recent Tik Tok video, Jub Jub showed that his support for the party does not stop at just attending its big events but some on the ground work. In the video, the presenter is seen handing out political party t-shirts to the public at a petrol station.
“The people have spoken,” Jub Jub captioned the video, which had the 2020 version of his song “Ndikhokhele which features Nathi, Rebecca Malope, Benjamin Dube, Mlindo The Vocalist, T’kinzy, Judith Sephuma, Blaq Diamond and Lebo Sekgobela, play in the background.
The video since being posted a day ago has been viewed over 400 thousand times and even trended on X (previously known as X).

Jub Jub’s video brought mixed reactions from the public with some not her for the free t-shirt move often used by politicians for votes.
John Dube on Tik Tok said: “People don't eat t/shirts, you can't undermine people like the way this guy is doing, politicians think we eat t/shirts, Zuma failed 2 bring back our economy when he was a President of South Africa.”
@_ Jon"D" also on Tik Tok said: “I will never download his music ever again, Eff helped him and that's how he thanked them, wheels are turning bro...watch the space.”
The “Uyajola 9/9” presenter didn't stop at the petrol station but also hit the roads and distributed t-shirts and people were eager to grab one even inside their vehicles.
