Music sensation Tyla has officially reached her social media superstar certification after reaching 10 million followers on Instagram.
Last week, the “Push 2 Start” hitmaker had around 9.9 million followers and this past weekend, she finally reached the 10 million mark.
Her fans, who have been watching her growth, are super excited because, in May this year, she was only sitting on 5.7 million followers.
“Tyla has made it to 10 million followers on Instagram, so happy and proud of her,” said @Johnnoe30104153.
Meanwhile, the singer, who is currently in South Africa for the December holidays, was spotted at Piano Hub in Pimville, Soweto.
She was partying alongside DJ Maphorisa, teaching him a new dance.
In other news, people from outside of South Africa said they wished Tyla had released the “Push 2 Start” music video, perfectly timed for summer in South Africa.
“Bestie, I don't know if you've seen but they're pointing out to you that the song was in fact, released for summer. Her people's summer,” said @WendyAydah.
Another Tyla supporter, @mbathambali493, said: “ This surprises no one. We established long ago that you people think planet Earth begins and ends with those locations. She's South African. It's summer in Tyla's home country. Thanks, bye.”
Tyla also wished her supporters happy holidays.
