Amapiano star Lady Du has been outspoken about giving back to the community. Known for her hits and dedication to her craft, she has now taken her passion for music a step further by launching her very own record label.

She shared the news on social media, revealing that her label has already signed four young artists and she is committed to mentoring them personally.

In an Instagram post, the artist expressed how this was a dream come true for her. She shared a photo of the record label’s headquarters and asked her fans for support on her new journey.

“I had a dream and God made it possible!!!!!! Welcome to our record label!!!!! I’ll be mentoring boys and girls!!!! We have signed 4 boys at the moment who I will personally look after!!!! It’s been a good 4 months of recording and writing; I ask that you support my boys!!!!!” she wrote.

Born Duduzile Ngwenya, she was raised in a family with deep ties to music with her father, DJ Choc, and uncle, DJ Zan D, influential in developing her passion for music.

Despite her family’s musical background, she had to work her way up, holding various jobs to support herself while pursuing her music dreams.

Her resilience paid off when she broke into the Amapiano scene with hits like “Umsebenzi Wethu” and “Catalia” skyrocketing her to fame.
