Local actress Lorraine Moropa and her musician partner Tyler ICU have taken their relationship to the next level by getting engaged.
Currently in Zanzibar, the couple travelled to Tanzania to celebrate ICU’s birthday on January 3 and little did Moropa know that it would come with him popping the question.
“Happiest birthday to the love of my life, my best friend, my forever. When God created you, He definitely had me in mind. I live every day indebted to him for gracing not just me but a collective of people with your life.
“I’ve witnessed you advance people’s lives for the greater, replenishing their hopes of becoming as great as you. Your selflessness and big heart are what will always keep your prosperity taps flooding and your abundance cup overflowing,” she wrote.
“I wish you a year filled with love, joy, peace, elevation and prosperity. I love you so much baba ka boy [father of the boy].“
She also got her man a custom bracelet from Luxe Homme and, in return, ICU asked her to be his wife.
Moropa wasted little time in saying yes.
“The 3rd of Jan was supposed to only be Baba ka boy’s birthday, but it also became the beginning of the rest of my life. I said yes to a forever with my best friend. I couldn’t be more grateful to God for this wonderful gift of love,” she wrote.
The couple also spent Christmas with both their families and we cannot wait to see their wedding (hopefully, it’s happening this year).
