Outdoor music festival Rocking the Daisies (RTD) today announced their second international act, Milky Chance, for their tenth annual event. “You asked and we made it happen! German duo, Milky Chance will be bringing their fresh sound to the main stage at Daisies this October!” announced the organisers on their Facebook account. Festival-goers would in October 2015 see the German duo join Australian band Cat Empire on the main stage line-up. “Milky Chance became a viral online sensation after they released their self-produced single ‘Stolen Dance’ on YouTube, which racked up over 30 million plus views in one month,” said RTD on its website. Cat Empire, the first international act announced by RTD, were best known for being “a band with no guitars, with no easily definable style, and no corresponding haircut”. RTD said Cat Empire were expected to “deliver incredible musicality, humour, entertainment, energy, and are guaranteed to make you smile and dance”.

Acts for the Electronic Dome, Lemon Tree Theatre, Nu World Beat Club, Campsite Stage, Beach Bar, and Hemp Stage were yet to be announced. RTD tenth edition would take place at its usual venue, the Cloof Wine Estate in Darling, from October 1 to 3 2015 and phase two tickets were now on sale.
