A reply to a letter by Adiel Ismail entitled 'Looking at the effect on Gaza and the World', October 8, 2024.

Leave us alone! I am proud to be Jewish who has a deep love for Israel to whom we have been connected for the last 3000 years. I admire and respect Christianity and the Muslim faiths.

They have a love for G-d, show kindness to members of their faith and others (ie Gift of the Givers) and tremendous dedication in observance (Christianity with Lent and Muslims with their astounding month long Ramadaan fast).

Then why, must I ask, do you hate Jews so much? In plain language what have we done to deserve this? Over the centuries,in fact since the founding of your religions; you have pursued us, rejected us and murdered us.

According to Google we are 0,2 of the worlds population and the land of Israel comprises 0,0139 of the worlds land mass.

There is much to say but let me conclude by saying if you want the Messianic Era to arrive, it will come not by hate but by love, not by a gun but by a helping hand, not by calling out G-d’s name before killing but by calling out G-d’s name for life.

Adiel, let us meet for coffee.
