ADvTECH has announced that Monde Nkosi, a cherished non-executive director and a prominent figure in the investment, nominations, and remuneration committees, will resign from the board effective 28 February 2025.

Nkosi, who has served ADvTECH since 2021, has been instrumental in driving the company’s expansion and enhancing its positive social footprint during a prolific period of growth.

Monde, currently an investment director at Value Capital Partners, has played a pivotal role in helping ADvTECH deliver substantial returns to its shareholders, ensuring the group maintains its competitive edge in the educational landscape of South Africa.

The board expressed sincere gratitude for Monde’s dedication and valuable contributions, wishing him success in his future endeavours.

With Monde’s departure, the board is set to welcome Daniel Smith as a new non-executive director on the same date.

Smith, who has been serving as an alternate director to Monde, brings over 20 years of investment banking experience both in South Africa and internationally.

His deep expertise spans multiple industries, and he currently holds the position of group chief financial officer at Lesaka Technologies Inc., a financial technology group listed on both NASDAQ and the JSE.

The board congratulated Dan on his new role, affirming their anticipation for his continued contributions to ADvTECH’s strategic direction.

With a track record of success in finance and investment, Dan’s appointment marks a significant step forward for ADvTECH at a time crucial for ensuring sustained growth and shareholder value.
